My Fear

I’ve been having a lot of fun recording some memories, on my Podcast, of how I got to where I am now. I remember a few years ago, as I was visiting a local Cosmetology school,  the director asked me to come in and talk to the students and tell them how I achieved all that great success I’ve been having. I faked some confidence and said sure. Then left thinking I’m not
successful at all and very scared to talk in front of people, what the heck will I talk about. Soon after, I sat down at a local coffee shop with the old fashion pen and paper and thought, I better write down any little thing I’ve done since school and see if I can find something that director was talking about. As I began to write, the list grew much bigger than I thought it would. I was very happy to find I had done much more than most of the others I had graduated with. I was also excited to realize that by me not thinking I was very successful, must have meant that I was humble and still hungry to learn. At the same time, I did start to remember how confused in school I was about which direction to take, and decided to start sharing my personal journey to success. Hopefully helping, guiding and motivating other stylists on the same confusing journey. I’ll go into more detail about various parts of my journey in future posts, but you can instantly hear much of my journey on my Podcast, The Profitable Stylist, if you just can’t wait. Thanks for reading. I hope I helped.
